A life that speaks

Some live lives that speak

Some like to hold it in.
To live a subdued life,
And hold their inner man captive.

Some ignore the feeling within,
And watch their days idly go by.
Living a life best described as restrictive.

But there are some that have found another way
To make good use of their stay
Here on earth.

That see new paths to walk on
And not those they’ve been travelling on
Ever since birth.

That don’t see the need to conform
To the irrational ideas called “the norm.”
Not before they see death.

The creative.
The artists.
The inventors.
The daredevils.

Denying the silent way of life.
Letting their inner man be free
To scream out words as loud as they can be.
They paint pictures to all who will see.

Living life to the point of tears.
With no worries and no fears,
They live life out loud.
