My reality
Chapter 37 of 76
You would think that since we have been living life for so many years now (twenty-four for me as of this writing), that somehow we would be better at it. The one basic command of living your life is simplistic in idea form, but complex in reality.
Everyone has a unique view of reality that they use to make sense of life. We believe in different things and do things differently. What happens when our views of reality interact is interesting though. I have met people who believed in things that I wouldn’t even think of believing in, not even in a million years. Maybe if I had grown up like them, and experienced life the same way as them, I would share similar beliefs; but I don’t.
Some of the people I meet have fallacious beliefs and ways of thinking. Apart from annoying me at times, their difference intrigues me. It ends up being a rich source of life lessons. I learn from people with fallacious beliefs and mental attitudes; I learn how we live life as humans, and I also get a chance to assess myself to see if I am in touch with reality or not. I believe that if you can’t agree with how they think, then it’s better to learn from their difference.
