Yesterday's problems
Chapter 16 of 76
Yesterday’s problems don’t necessarily have to follow you to today. I’ve noticed that most of the problems that I encounter in my life are linked to a lack of preparation, failure to think ahead of time or unawareness.
I embark on long periods of reflection, and spend a lot of time thinking (not worrying) about my problems; to lower the probability of lingering, recurring and unforeseen problems. Problems come few and far between in the life of a proactive person.
Some people tell me not to think about problems, to help me avoid stress, but not thinking about my problems effects the opposite. I am not stressed by life’s problems per se, but by not having enough time to think about my problems, to avoid, solve or mitigate them, and learn valuable lessons from them and find closure.
