Strategy and execution

Choosing to let problems dictate how you live your life robs you of so much power. On its own, a problem might have strong consequences, but they dwarf when compared to the effects of a problem being manipulated by a problem solver. One small decision made and one small action taken at the right time can eliminate problems with such power that it will leave you fearing problem solvers.

A problem or difficulty is only imposing when you sit around doing nothing about it, but when you stand up to it, its stature will be laughable. I guess that’s why I laugh whenever I encounter challenges in life; like the way a champion (having a plethora of personal victories under his belt) laughs at a weaker opponent.

What to do and how you do it, combined, determines outcome. Success or failure is determined by design, strategy or planning to similar extents as it is by execution. A poor plan or strategy that is perfectly executed is still a failure; and bad execution of an effective strategy still equates to failure.

Both need to be flawless and compatible with each other. Since planning is chronologically primary, the plan has to be well constructed before execution; but execution is just as important for success.
