The Vision

People who hate you for no apparent reason

Chapter 47 of 76

Sometimes people show you that they don’t like you, for no apparent reason. Without any blatant justification for their dislike, you find that they are negative when interacting with you. There is always a reason behind any action though, and some reasons are hard to perceive.

If you did nothing wrong on your part to ignite the hate that they are showing, then the reason is probably personal, to them. They have inner conflict that you don’t know about.

It could be that you have something that they don’t have. Something they wish they had, but are too proud to admit to. Something of value. It can be anything: good looks, talent, skill or even good luck. Or maybe your presence or actions inadvertently make them feel inferior.

Whichever way you look at it, there will always be people who look up to you, people who look down on you and people who hate you for just being there. Aim for that peaceful state between love and hate, in which you don’t like the person, but don’t hate him or her either. It’s better for your well-being. As long as you continue to mind your own business, and avoid spending your life lost in vain hate cycles, you will live a life that you will be proud of.
