It is possible to call something a problem when it really isn’t. A line needs to be drawn between problems we need to solve and things we need to accept. So how do you know if something is a problem or not?

If it can’t be solved, then it is not a problem, but it is a fact of life that I need to embrace or accept. It is stressful to try to solve or change things that are not changeable.

I was surprised by the number of unnecessary worries and pointless actions I avoided because of this. When I finally grasped the difference between problems and facts of life, and got the hang of discerning the two in my life, it felt like a huge load was lifted from my shoulders. I was able to focus my mind on real problems, and found peace of mind in accepting reality.
