The Vision

Uncredited love

Chapter 70 of 76

I love only because I want to. That’s why I don’t blame or accredit anyone else for the outcome, good or bad. Especially when the outcome hurts me; I accept the situation as it is.

Uncredited love usually harbors the greatest of all sacrifices and goodwill. Acts of love that are done without the intent of getting noticed often go uncredited. The givers of love do it because they want to and care not about the rewards or consequences.

I’ve loved more than I thought I could, yet the person was not aware of my love. My acts went unnoticed because the person was unable to empathize and understand the sacrifices I was making, and the goodwill I had at the time. To me, expressing my love was a free decision I took, but to her I was just being unorthodox. I’m sure at one point after we parted ways, she realized my love. Uncredited love is misunderstood now, but is realized some time in the future, during reflection, and perhaps appreciated then.
