The Vision

Appreciation and value

Chapter 8 of 76

People’s appreciation of you doesn’t always match up to your true value. It can be more and it can be less.

A person can be appreciated less by the people around him than those elsewhere. The lack of appreciation portrayed by those around you does not make you any less valuable. It might attack your self-worth, and even hurt your self-confidence, but that is subjective. A good attitude will help you self-actualize when this happens.

There are people who will appreciate your value in the world. It is just a matter of discernment, and creating beneficial relations with those that do, while reassessing the usefulness of your relations with those that don’t.

We all have special attributes that are of value to someone. Find your place of value. You are never useless. You just need to find your place.
