My place of birth
Chapter 13 of 17
That place where it all began
There’s something about my place of birth.
I can’t put my finger on it.
To me, it’s like no other place on earth,
It stands out and shines, the more my mind lingers on it.
Maybe it’s the cool climate,
And the abundance of fresh air.
Everything else can wait,
When I’m alone with nature,
Riding thought-trains and relaxing, without a care.
Or maybe it’s all in my head;
How I perceive it instead,
But at some point, perception becomes reality.
There comes a time in life
When one wonders how it all began.
When one needs clarity.
A new beginning,
A tattoo on the heart,
Affirmation on the journey you’re about to start.
Or when you’ve lost your way,
And need to get back on track.
When you need to be reminded of who you are,
And garner strength to move on.
When you’re at a place you’ve never been before,
Mentally.
Putting together the pieces of the puzzle of your life.
You’ll have to go to that place you’ve been before;
The place that taught you all you know.
You were born there,
Some twice.
The birth and rebirth place,
And we all know how to get there.
