The Vision

What you think of a person

Chapter 50 of 76

Everyone has his or her own view of reality. Perception can be reality; or not. As we interact with other people, it’s human to form an opinion of them; from what you see, hear and feel.

With this in mind, there are two possible outcomes of our perceptions. We can form an accurate and correct some extent) opinion of a person; but I believe that no one opinion can absolutely define a person. It only correctly expresses a part of that person’s being, at a particular moment in time. We are evolving beings, and therefore cannot be defined by one absolute opinion by anyone.

The second possibility is that of forming a wrong or inaccurate opinion of a person. What you think of a person is not necessarily the truth.

Keeping an open mind on how you view other people allows you to gradually refine your opinions, to get them closer to reality. Refusing to see a person in different lights stops you from knowing a person profoundly.
