When you know that a person doesn't like you
Chapter 51 of 76
It’s one of the easiest things to sense when around a person: that he or she doesn’t like you. There might not be any blatant signs or verbal cues, but you get a feeling that there is something they don’t like about you. You see it in the way they act and respond to your interactions. I believe it’s instinct telling us, and chances are that no one else senses it.
I’ve been in many of these situations, but I discovered that you can learn something from them. If you find out that a person doesn’t like you, and you do not let them know of your discovery, you’ll find a thread to pull at. A thread that would otherwise be impossible to find.
As you continue to interact, you’ll find out the extent of their dislike, and possibly the reason(s) behind it. By not letting them know of what you sense, you give them no reason to be artful, allowing you to see their genuine actions and intentions. You will be more ready to spot even the slightest of nuances in their intentions.
Part of the point is to try and find a productive way forward. Maybe the reason for their dislike is something that you would have overlooked; a wrong on your part. However, if you’re convinced that there is nothing you can do to have that person like you, accept it and move on. Why waste precious time feeling hate for a person? Life is hard enough as it is.
