Why I value myself
Chapter 59 of 76
I was not born yesterday. I know how much it took for me to be who I am. If this life was just given to me, in an instant and without any effort on my part, then I would probably misuse it and lose it overnight. You value your life more if you are the one working to sustain and improve it.
The cost of loving your life is work, sacrifice and dedication. You love that which is worth something to you, that which you invest in.
I value myself because I am a product of work, sacrifice and dedication. It is the deliberate efforts that I put into improving my life that make it valuable to me. If you don’t value your own life then you are not doing enough with it.
