Death and fear
Chapter 5 of 17
The fear of death is unnecessary
Death lost its grip of power,
On me.
I no longer fear that last hour,
You see.
Take away fear,
And all you see is reality.
That which you hold dear,
And cling to in vanity,
Yes your life,
Will be taken away
With neither consent nor your say.
All I know is that
I am alive, now.
I didn’t tell my life to start,
And its end is imminent anyhow.
I’ll play my part until its over,
With only one take,
And no such thing as a break.
To fear its ending, I will not bother.
